It is our great honor to invite you to attend the international conference, "Unfinished Justice: Restitution and Remembrance", which is being hosted at the European Parliament in Brussels on 26th April 2017.
The conference is being conducted under the patronage of the President of the European Parliament, Mr. Antonio Tajani MEP, and is being organized by the European Alliance for Holocaust Survivors (EAHS), a coalition of Members of the European Parliament committed to issues impacting Holocaust Survivors, the World Jewish Restitution Organization (WJRO) and the European Shoah Legacy Institute (ESLI) together with the European Jewish Congress (EJC) and B'nai B'rith International as well as the Permanent Missions of the State of Israel, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom to the European Union and their respective Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
The conference aims to discuss the restitution of Holocaust-era assets in the forty-seven countries that endorsed the Terezin Declaration in 2009, with a particular focus on the current state of post-Holocaust restitution, best practices for countries to address issues, and methods for the European Union to encourage ongoing progress.
We would welcome your attendance at the conference as we discuss an issue of great importance to Holocaust survivors and their families, as well as to all of us who seek justice for victims of the Holocaust.
